ULTRA TOUR

This year, the Ultra Tour will start from the resort of Vaujany. From the very first kilometers, you will begin with a beautiful climb to the Oisans lake plateau before reaching Alpe d’Huez. The route continues towards the Col de Sarenne and Besse-en-Oisans.

You will then reach the Plateau d’Emparis, where you can admire a spectacular sunrise over La Meije and the peaks of the Écrins massif. The route then heads towards the Chalet du Fay, before descending to Besse-en-Oisans for refreshments.

After the base camp, the route climbs again, passing by the resort of Auris en Oisans, to Alpe d’Huez and its famous Signal slope.

The last part of the route consists of a beautiful balcony crossing that will take you through the resorts of Villard-Reculas and Oz en Oisans!

As we are working in natural areas, living together with people who use the land you are walking through all year round, we sometimes have to make changes to our different routes, which may slightly modify the distance and/or the height difference. This distance and difference in altitude are therefore given as an indication.
